Author’s note: There are several reasons why I loved the BBC show “Hustle” – it’s light, at times silly and ridiculous, clever, flashy and totally unashamed of the fact that it’s all a con; from the lovable crew of con artists to the jazz music or the sometimes grotesquely “evil” villains. But what I really loved about it were the characters, each of them special in their own way, and most importantly the wonderful, strong friendship between them. They’re loyal to each other beyond everything else – each of the crew puts himself/herself on the line for the others at some point, never hesitating, always looking out for each other and trying to protect the others from getting hurt – but they also have fun together; they’re so happy to be together that it’s a joy to watch.

For obvious reasons, I’m choosing this to fill the “Wild Card” on my Gen Bingo card, using the prompt “Found Families”.
