Summary: So, they defeated the Emperor. And destroyed the Death Star. They made peace with the Rebellion, brought back democracy and even restored the Jedi Order… Things should be good, right? However, the real challenges in Luke’s life have only begun as he has to keep his murderous father in check in face of unexpected developments… AU, Crack.
A/N: Errr, this fills the prompt “Soft” on my Gen Bingo card. You have to squint though. Lots of squinting required. Explanation under cut.
So, the “Soft” prompt. Well, I saw a Vader plushie at the store, which looked all soft and cuddly. It made me raise my eyebrows – I mean, I sort of get the plush Chewies and even Yodas, but Vader? Errr, so not cuddly! Of course, that then made me think of how the “real” Vader would react to these toys; if some random kids saw him as so much a hero that they needed a Vader plushie, and oh how the poor Sith Lord would react if his terror-inspiring reputation was in jeopardy. What if the universe felt that he was going soft…
And that is how the fill relates to the prompt :P
