My second art prompt for wc_reverse_bb was the “Fairytale AU”, and I was so happy when it got picked by the wonderful sandy79 :) The art has been a bit of a challenge (thank you everyone at wcwu who pointed me into the right direction for some templates) – but that ultimately made it even more fun :D

The Heart of a King is a story that begins when King James Bennett mysteriously disappears. Before the kingdom can fall into chaos, First Knight Peter Burke reveals a secret that he has kept for many years – King James had a son who can step forward and claim the throne; a young man named Neal Caffrey. But before Neal can be crowned, he and his group of friends will have to fight the power-hungry lords, teach Neal the finer details of being a king – and also, help him find a suitable bride…
