I think Neal has opened up to Sara a lot – it’s easier since she often operates within the “gray areas” – and that he cares very deeply for her. Talking with her helped Neal put things in perspective and maybe admit some things that he would have ignored otherwise – like the fact that yes, he's trying to live up to both Peter and Mozzie's expectations – and those obviously can’t go together.
One of the things I like about Sara is that she is a very strong character; I think she’d go very far for Neal, but she can also hold her own against him and doesn’t hesitate to call him on his actions. I like the chemistry they have together and I hope to see more of it in the rest of the season.
