I know that Nolan and Plageman have a new series coming to HBO this fall called Westworld. It sure looks weird, but I'll have to check it out.
I don't want a POI spinoff either. With John gone and Harold likely retired, that would just not be the same. If they made one, I would probably watch, and it'd still be fun with Shaw and Fusco (I'm sure they'll run into each other and no way Fusco will sit on the sidelines ;) ) but still I have no particular desire for it. I'm happy enough just knowing they're out there.
Plus I wouldn't want anyone to take over, make a cheap spin-off that wouldn't have the same quality and would just ruin everything. I'm happy with what we got. I'd rather try and find another show.
